- By registering to participate in Formal Recruitment for the College Panhellenic Council, I understand that I am eligible to live and may be placed in the CPC Living Learning Community in Georgia Hall. In order to request to live in this community, I understand that I must change my housing assignment request via my Student account. (This does not apply to women living off campus.)

- Letters of recommendation are not required for membership, however if you would like to have a letter sent on your behalf please address them to the individual chapter addresses listed on their websites. Chapter websites can be found: www.valdosta.edu/greek

- While the College Panhellenic Council (CPC) of Valdosta State University does not deter any woman from participating in Formal Recruitment based on GPA, I am aware that a majority of chapters are seeking women with a minimum of a 2.7 (on a 4.0 scale) and/or a 72 (on a 100 point scale). Further, I understand that the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Valdosta State University requires that every student participating in recruitment has a minimum 2.5 GPA as calculated by the Office of Admissions. This GPA is unweighted. Current Valdosta State University students who transferred to the University with an established college GPA may join at any time during their collegiate careers given that they have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher based on 12 or more credit hours, a minimum semester GPA of a 2.50 the semester prior to joining and successfully completed 12 or more hours at Valdosta State University. The following GPA tiers provide a guideline of a Potential New Member's likelihood that her GPA will impact her chances of being placed into a sorority at VSU:

Low Risk GPA: 4.0-3.0 (on a 4.0 scale): There is a very low probability that you will be released from chapters based on your GPA.

Medium Risk: 2.99-2.75 (on a 4.0 scale): There is a moderate risk that some (not all) chapters may choose to release you from their process based on your GPA and/or grades.

High Risk: 2.74-2.50 (on a 4.0 scale): There is a high likelihood that you will be released from the recruitment process by some or most chapters based on your GPA and/or grades.

Scholarship is a founding principle of our sororities and a history of scholastic success is something that most chapters are looking for in Potential New Members. Additionally, we want to ensure your success in college. Some students have a difficult time adjusting to college life and a GPA in this range may require more focused attention to academics.

All fees are non-refundable. The final registration deadline for registration is August 4, 2025, at 11:59 pm.

August 13th: Philanthropy Day (Round One)

August 14th: Sisterhood Day (Round Two)

August 15th: Preference Day (Final Round)

August 16th: Bid Day

1. I am granting permission to Valdosta State University College Panhellenic Council, the Director of Student Life, the Assistant Director of Greek Life (Greek Advisor), sorority presidents, and recruitment chairs to verify my academic records for eligibility to participate in formal recruitment.

2. I understand that except for illness, an emergency, or situation receiving prior approval from the Valdosta State University Greek Advisor, I must participate in all formal recruitment activities. Failure to participate in all events or to follow the recruitment guidelines may result in my removal from the formal recruitment process.

3. I am responsible for all the financial obligations of sorority membership.

4. I realize that by completing this form that I am under NO obligation to join a sorority. Should I join a sorority, I grant permission for my grades to be released each semester to an officer of the sorority to be used only for the organization's scholarship program.
