February 1, 2024, 5:00pm-7:30pm-Mandatory Orientation and Hazing Prevention Workshop Student Center Ballrooms 5:30-8:00pm
(Please make note, you only need to attend ONE orientation and hazing prevention workshop)
February 2, 2024, 5:30pm-11pm- First round of recruitment parties | Meet the Sisters
February 3, 2024, 10:30am-5pm- Second round of recruitment parties | Philanthropy
February 4, 2024, 10:30am-5pm- Third round of recruitment parties | Preference
February 5, 2024, 6pm-9pm- Bid Day

Please note that we are still finalizing the format for each event (virtual/in-person/hybrid) and we will send information as we get closer. However, all participants should be prepared to attend in-person on campus.

KEEP CALM AND PREPARE FORPRIMARY RECRUITMENT

You may be nervous going on this journey but have no fear --- follow this few tips to help calm your nerves and be best prepared for formal recruitment.

1. Just RELAX. Be yourself, everything happens for a reason and you will end up where YOU belong when everything is said and done.

2. Be sure to eat! Nerves might kick in but this is crucial.

3. Be sure to drink lots of water! You’ll be doing a lot of talking.

4. Feel comfortable asking questions. Remember you are trying to find out what organization is best for YOU. Don’t hold back.

5. Take off of work! The more time you have throughout the weekend the better opportunity you have to find out where you belong.

6. Base your decisions on what YOU believe not what your friends believe.

7. Choose where you feel a natural connection.

8. Go in with an open mind! You may want one organization but give all the others a chance because they all have something great to offer.

9. Overall, you will end up where you belong. Remember that. Stay positive, be yourself, and HAVE FUN! This is an exciting experience that allows you to learn a lot about yourself!

I understand that by physically clicking on the SUBMIT button on this page I am granting permission to the Office of Greek Life at Montclair State University to release the information contained herein to the relevant chapter officials of the Panhellenic Council member chapters for recruitment purposes only. I am also authorizing the Office of Greek Life to verify that I am eligible for recruitment (have 12 Montclair State University credits AND a minimum 2.7 GPA).

Should I join a Greek society, I also hereby grant permission to the Office of Greek Life to release my semester and cumulative grades to the relevant chapter officials of the Greek society I join for as long as I am an active member.

This action, though, does not require me to join a Greek society, nor does it obligate any Greek society to offer me membership.

Payment is mandatory to participate in Panhellenic Primary Recruitment, payment fees are $10.00. Payment is due at the time of registration and is nonrefundable.
